School of Rock in Chatham, NJ is a performance-based music program that "Inspires Kids to Rock...On Stage and In Life!" Students learn by "doing" and are taught that performing and engaging with others in a band-like setting is the best way to stay engaged, motivated and build confidence as a stage musician. There are no recitals; music is taught within the context of learning songs by REAL bands and playing REAL venues.
